I'm Britt - a vocalist, business owner, and the sole force behind Vocals by Britt. From client consultations and soundchecks to performing your first dance or headline set, I manage every aspect of the business personally, ensuring quality and consistency from start to finish.

With a Master’s degree in Popular Music and nearly a decade of professional performance experience, I bring a combination of formal training, practical expertise, and a deep passion for live music to every event I work on.

A Background in Musical Craft

My musical journey began long before I ever stepped on stage as a vocalist. I grew up learning a variety of instruments, which gave me a well-rounded understanding of music theory, arrangement, and performance from a young age. While I enjoyed exploring different instruments, I eventually realised that vocals were where I truly felt at home - and where I could connect most deeply with an audience.

I went on to study music at university, achieving a First Class BA (Hons) in Music Performance before completing an MA in Popular Music at the University of Chester. These academic experiences helped shape not only my technical skills and vocal ability, but also my confidence in live performance, stagecraft, and creative interpretation.

A Career in Live Performance

Since completing my studies, I’ve worked as a professional vocalist across a wide range of settings: including weddings, corporate events, pub gigs, private functions, and live music venues throughout the UK. In November 2024, I launched Vocals by Britt as an independent venture to bring a more personalised, artist-led approach to live music.

My repertoire is broad, covering everything from acoustic ballads to upbeat pop, soul, rock, and classic crowd-pleasers. I tailor every setlist to suit the occasion, but I have a real passion for throwback bangers and timeless anthems - songs that stir nostalgia, lift a room, and bring people together.

A Setup That Delivers

Every booking comes with a full professional PA system, with both wired and wireless microphone options to suit your space and preferences. I’m fully PAT tested and covered by Public Liability Insurance, and I work closely with venues to ensure everything runs smoothly from a technical perspective.

Based in Liverpool and available to travel across the UK, I perform regularly at weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and live music nights; always with the same level of preparation, professionalism, and attention to detail.
